Rogue's Rivers Biome

The Rogue’s Rivers Biome is a part of a larger passion project that has been living in my head for several years. It is a small part of a larger game that will one day become real, my current working title for it is Akurans. My creatures are heavily inspired by the kaiju of Pacific Rim, along with the colorful creatures of Subnautica, and the flexible creativity of the Spore creature creator. The Adventurer, the only human in this digital diorama, is my player character. They will be the vessel for the player to explore the world I am building. Their armor is heavily inspired by Halo’s mjolnir armor, and the bright scarf is inspired by hunter cloaks in Destiny 2. The goal of this piece was to actualize one of the biomes that is planned to be in the final game. It is the start of an asset library that will be game engine ready when I choose to fulfill my long term goal of having Akurans made. This project is a dream come true, and I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.
